PS. Pic was taken at Riva, St Kilda on New Year's Day 2011. I'm wearing the super fabulous sass & bide Seasons of Change vest with The Innocent One tank. Very appropriate for 1/1/11 I thought. ;)  xox

Down Yonder goes Yonder

Alexa Chung wears the ever comfy Saltwater Sandals

So excited, one of my fave stores on Malvern Road South Yarra, has branched out beyond the confines of regular retail hours and launched a brand spanking new online store!

If you're anything like me the urge to shop your favourite stores often hits at random times of the day or evening, like when reading Down Yonder's fabulous blog in the wee hours of the morning. So, an online store can help feed the addiction, fill up the wardrobe with H-O-T buys and rapidly deplete the bank account.

Even better, if you get your orders in before 23 December, you'll get them in time for Christmas. Woo hoo! for those of us stuck at work or those far away from Malvern Road.

Down Yonder first introduced us to the fabulous label Friend of Mine last year and also stock Saltwater Sandals (made famous by Alexa Chung and so comfy you'll never want to wear anything else), jewellery from Stolen Girlfriends Club and more.

Check it out now! I'm pining over the Friend of Mine Life on Mars rings.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, Down Yonder are even offering fashion advice for when you're a little unsure about mixing spots with leopard print - simply email them at downyonder@nausz.com ;)

Check out my posts here until the official change over... or if you want to start using the new blog now, check it out at http://houseofturtle.net  Would love to know your thoughts.

Trick or Treat?

How cool is this pic? Plus, the red-headed chick is the cuokie girl from last season of America's Next Top Model. She's great!

H-O-T Looks from the Caulfield Racing Carnival

Neutrals and bold purples seem to be the look of the moment for the races this year if these pics from the Caulfield Racing Carnival are anything to go by... though there also seems to be some sensible dressing to suit the weather conditions on the day. These ladies have taken on the glam look with satin fabrics and tailored draping.

Boys... Suit up and have some fun!

Winners! Chadstone Fashion Stakes Youthful Fashionistas

 Top 3
Winner: Kelly Odell from Glenhaven, NSW

Despite precarious weather conditions last Saturday, 16 October, the Caulfield Cup led the racing carnival fashion stakes with the Chadstone Fashion Stakes Youthful Fashionistas competition.

This new addition to the fashion line up proved very popular with many great contenders. But, only one girl could win... And that was Kelly Odell from Glenhaven, NSW.

The first runner up was Ashlea Harvey from Marsden in QLD. Second runner up was Natalie Bikicki, from Macedon, VIC.

Well done girls!
