The WOW Effect... Ssshh, it's a secret... L'Oreal Studio Secret that is

The WOW effect!
"Make-up artists often say that a successful complexion depends on the attention give to it. As long as you already have the winning combination: the right texture, the right colouring, the right coverage, the right luminosity and the right application! Now that all women have access to professional tools, look out: the 'wow' effect is everywhere!"
- Linda Evangelista

Discover the secrets of professional make up with L'Oreal Paris Cosmetics' new
Studio Secrets Professional range.

Inspired by fashion icon and supermodel, Linda Evangelista,
Studio Secrets Professional is the first ever professional make-up range created with an educational-style approach. The idea is to teach every woman to discover how she can easily apply make-up in the comfort of her own home, and look like a professional.

This unique range utilises highly advanced formulas to create products that offer instant, breathtaking results using a record number of tailor-made shades... so you can choose what products, textures and colours will suit you perfectly, every time.

I gave the Studio Secrets Professional Primer a go, and there is no doubt that this is a must-have product when applying make-up. It instantly smooths out lines and creates a picture perfect complexion by masking wrinkles (thank god!!) and uneven texture. After applying, my skin looked and felt smooth and velvety. The best thing about it is, that it's great for fixing that clumpy look foundation can sometimes give you. It also keeps your make-up on all day. A winner in my book!

Some of us may not have the height to match a supermodel, but this range will make sure we look just as H-O-T!

Check out which products suit you best online, and how to apply them, at L'Oreal Paris
Studio Secrets Professional.

Range exclusively available at
Priceline.

L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) 2010 Designer Award Finalists

Dhini announced as one of this year's seven finalists

Seven finalists have been selected to present their capsule Autumn/ Winter collections at this year's L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival for the 2010 LMFF Designer Award, presented by Woolmark.

Dion Lee, Dhini, Gail Sorronda, Gary Bigeni, Lui Hon, Konstantina Mittas and Therese Rawsthorne were all selected as finalists from an increasingly competitive field of entrants.

The winner of the 2010 LMFF Designer Award will be presented at the conclusion of the runway presentation, to be held on Tuesday 16 March at 7.30pm at Atlantic, Central Pier, Docklands.

With a line-up like this, judges will no doubt have a tough job selecting who will win the lucrative prize from Woolmark of $10,000, as well as exclusive introductions to Woolmark's extensive network of contacts locally and overseas.

Past winners of this prestigious award include Ben Pollitt (Friedrich Gray), Toni Maticevski, S!X, Mad Cortes, Josh Goot, TV, Yeojin Bae and Romance was Born.

My favourite from the line-up would have to be Dhini, however all seven finalists are bound to give the high profile judges a tough task of choosing who will win the award this year.

Visit LMFF for further information.

GG's Vanessa Abrams... Szohr's above the rest

Gossip Girl continues to deliver in the fashion stakes in Season 3.

I am totally loving the bright colourful boho looks that have been put together for Jessica Szohr's character, Vanessa Abrams. Here are a few of my favourites...

H-O-T, H-O-T, H-O-T!!
Layers create height and interest
Be bold - break boundaries with lots of colour
Mix and match patterns for a fresh fun look
Don't be afraid to mix big earrings with necklaces
Layered jewellery is always a winner
I never thought leggings as pants would look this H-O-T... but it does!

Tell us what you think... who's your favourite Gossip Girl fashionista?
