An enchanting ballerina danced to the fluid sounds of Tchaikovsky

Back in July I had the privilege of being invited to Mr Jones (of Porgie & Mr Jones fame) birthday soiree. 

It was the party to top all parties with decadent delicacies, delicious drinks, topless waiters, enchanting ballerinas, talented opera singers and more. 

Catering and performances were magically put together by Bright Young Things. Check them out for your next function or for the upcoming Spring Racing Carnival.

Max the fashionista

My cat, Maximus loves fashion and like me he's a fan of anything Kate Moss puts her personal sense of style to... Here he is acknowledging the awesomeness that is Hunter!

Hunter Wellington boots have been around for ages, but it's only since Kate made them her festival staple that they made their mark in the fashion world.

They're great for festivals and outdoor concerts where the elements are prone to change. I bought mine for trekking around at the snow. I hear that the girls in London wear them the way we where our Havianas, for getting around comfortably and then changing into heals.

On the Move: Cafe Fez - Myrtleford

After a recent trip to Hotham my friend and I stumbled upon a cute little cafe in Myrtleford, called Cafe Fez. We fell in love with the decor and this Moroccan salt and pepper container.

The best part, you can buy them too, as Cafe Fez is on the same lot as Red Ramia Trading who sell Middle Eastern imports. Well worth the stop if you're heading back from the snow.

Tomorrow is already here thanks to Sass and Bide

So excited about Sass & Bide's latest collection, Tomorrow The Great.

The girls have taken a slight shift away from the heavy focus on hardware we've seen of late (which might I say I love love love) and embraced a strong contrast of blacks and whites.

The collection uses a mixture of stripes and patterns - combined with our fave hardware (don't worry it's still there) and touches of lace and sheer blacks.

These pieces will be great mixed and matched with previous collections, or with a base outfit of black and white.

I am totally in love with the tuxedo style City of Love jacket, whilst my friend Silvia loves the capelets which easily work with either day or night dressing.

Feel good fashion with Country Road and Red Cross

Country Road have teamed up with the Red Cross to reward customers for putting their social and fashion conscience into action!

Fashion Trade is a great initiative which aims to raise money for the community and reduce landfill by encouraging people to recycle their pre-loved Country Road clothing and accessories.

The donated items will then be sold on through Red Cross retail stores to raise funds to support its everyday work with vulnerable people.

I am totally in love with this vintage picture recently posted on The Sartorialist. So much so that it's become my screen saver on my phone (for now anyway). It captures such a magnificent moment of style, extravagance and grace. I love the mix of colours in her outfit, the clash of patterns and fur, even her grubby suede boots. Plus, little Alejandro is quite the little style master himself. Check out his floral hippy pants.

I really want this Winter Kate by Nicole Richie opy jacket but can't bring myself to pay $349 for it, despite the fact that it's 100% vintage silk crepe.
